3DGrayscale.com was started because we noticed that it was very hard to find height maps (a.k.a. displacement maps) and we wanted to give others a way to download the height maps that they needed depending on their application.

If you’ve ever been looking for a height map or displacement map and couldn’t find the design you were looking for, then you’ve came to the right place. Simply browse through our collection and download whichever height map suits you best.

3D designers, CNC machinests and many others can benefit from being able to download both free and paid maps to use for their liking.

We also wanted to give creators a place to not only upload their designs but to make a profit as well. By utilizing our system, creators can easily create their own store and upload their designs to either offer for free or for a price which they are free to set themselves.

Our goal is to have the largest collection of height maps available and with your help, we will make that happen. New maps are being uploaded constantly so if there’s something you can’t find right away, check back often because it’s possible that someone may have uploaded exactly the right map you were looking for.
